Good property, but frustrating logistics, delayed communication, and missing amenities Positive: Clean, well-decorated property and great location Negative: 1) I sent in questions about the check-in process months before my stay to find out if I could have an early check-in, but I only received a reply about this once the money had been taken from my account, and it was too late to change my plans. In addition to this, we were told that check-in could be anytime between 4-8 pm, which made planning our arrival at the property extremely difficult and meant that we lost most of our first day. To improve this, I suggest advertising this time range (instead of just saying 4pm), as it is misleading when booking. 2) Instructions for checking into the accommodation were only sent to me on the day of arrival, telling me to go to another location around 15-20 minutes away by car. As we didn't hire a car, we had to book several taxis just to get to the accommodation. This is another thing that should be advertised, as it caused us to check in even later. 3) I asked well in advance if there would be a hair dryer at the property, which the host confirmed. But when we arrived, there was no hairdryer, which further delayed us getting to our event that evening. I then asked twice more if anyone could provide us with a hairdryer, and the host told me they were working on it, but then never messaged me again. 4) There were no curtains or blinds in the second bedroom, meaning we had zero privacy in the room throughout our stay because the room overlooked a main road and other houses. I contacted the host, who said they would look into this, and even asked us to send them photos, but they didn't do anything to rectify this. 5) The communication prior to our arrival was good, but once we had checked in, it tapered off. None of the replies were helpful. There were no instructions on how to use the appliances, how to access the pool area, or where the bin room was in the building. Hopefully, all these points will be improved for future guests.
